RULES
1. Always play the white Tees.
2. OB - OPTION #1, Take a lateral drop from the OB entry point onto the fairway edge closest to the out of bounds side for a two stroke penalty. You may take the ball back any distance keeping it on the fairway edge. OPTION #2, Re-Tee or drop a ball from the original spot for a one stroke penalty. If you hit a provisional and you do not find your provisional ball, option #1 now has to be taken to save time.
3. PLAY BALL AS IT LIES. No movement at all. Exceptions to this rule is ball on a sprinkler head, flooded area (not the same as a water hazard) or area under repair. Relief under the exceptions is one club length away no closer to the hole for no penalty. Same goes for the cart path.
4. TAKING AN UNPLAYABLE. If your ball rests behind a tree, behind a rock, up against a fence etc. You may take a one club distance sideways or back for a one stroke penalty. If one club length does not get you out of the unplayable area, you’re allowed a second or third club length until you have a swing. No closer to the hole. This only applies on the course not a penalty area i.e OB or Water Hazard. If in a bunker you may take an unplayable away from the bunker edge but must remain in the bunker. You may not move take more than one club length to better your shot I.e. away from an overhanging branch or any other obstruction.
5. SINK ALL PUTTS. “No Gimmies”. Keep this consistent even if you feel generous because that missed 6”er might give someone a spot up in the points standings for the round.
6. Can you stop the bleeding and pick up? Yes as follows; PAR 3 - score an 8. PAR 4 - score a 10. PAR 5 - score a 12. I will adjust the max score per hole with handicaps.
7. Lost ball not OB? Agree on the ball resting point and take a drop for a one stroke penalty. 3 min Rule.
That’s it boys. If you think of something else that needs to be listed please feel free to let me know.
